You have a chance to learn about Vietnamese history in the feudal system under Dinh, Le, and Ly Dynasty. 11:45: Have lunch in the restaurant with a lot of local foods such as goat meat, fish, chicken, fried rice…. Vegetarian foods are always available in the buffet lunch. 13:00: Visit Trang An which was recognized by UNESCO as A World Heritage Site in 2014. Trang An has a wonderful tunnel cave system so Kong’s Movie Group chose this place for the New Version of Kong in 2016 – “Skull Island”. 8.30 am Have a hearty breakfast at the hotel and begin your journey to Halong Bay. This journey will take you through the Red River Delta where you can see the everyday life of the Vietnamese Villagers. Upon arriving at Halong, board a traditional sailing junk and get greeted by the crew members. Discover some of the treasures disseminated across the Bay of the Descending Dragon during the afternoon: fascinating caves, pristine beaches, picturesque floating villages, and fantastic rock formations rising up out of emerald water. After having a delicious lunch on board, spend the rest of the time at leisure, wherein you can choose to attend our chef's cooking demonstration and try your skills in the art of traditional Vietnamese cooking. Spend the rest of the evening on the sundeck of your cruise and admire the colors of the sunset painting the sky. Later, have your dinner accompanied by a wide selection of wines and beverages (additional cost for drinks) along with various entertainment options like - movie night, squid fishing, etc. You can also choose to enjoy your drink by sitting relaxedly surrounded by limestone rocks majestically springing out from silent waters in the night. Bay Mau coconut forest located in Cam Thanh, about 3 km southeast from Hoi An, known as "the South in the Ancient Town". In the past, this area was covered by 7000 m2 coconut water. This area is a Mangrove Forest located near the Cua Dai estuary. After the Geneva Agreement, a difficult period of revolution, the Bay Mau coconut forest became a shelter and revolutionary base in the war against the French and Americans. Tourists will experience life on the river with basket boating and interesting folk games. 08:30 – 09:00: Picking you up at your hotel, transfer to Hoi An. 09:30: Tour guide takes the tourists at Cua Dai bridge, Hoi An. Board a wooden motor boat (20 minutes) to Unicorn Island. On this boat along the river’s bank, you’ll be passing through natural creeks, interesting fisherman's port; stilt houses (half on land, half on water). From there, we’ll take you to a bee farm where you have a chance to taste a tasteful cup of authentic honey tea. After that we walk around quiet villages and watch the life of rural people in Mekong Delta. One of the boat’s stops during this trip is at a seasonable orchard that has many different types of tasty tropical fruits for your enjoyments. You can enjoy the fruits for free while checking out the folk music that is typical to only the people in Southern Vietnam. Things get small and personal now. We are divided into many groups (if you take group tour) and get on small row boats. During this 15 minutes trip, you’ll witness all kind of interesting transportation modes that local people use to move around, while enjoying the fresh air along the canal and beautiful water coconut tree scenery. Away from the city, that is it all about! When you feel it's enough for the serenity, let's get back to the large motor boat for something different. You'll cruise a canal whose 2 long sides are orchards (seasonable orchards). After that, we cruise to a village where the sweat smell coconut candies are in the air. To satisfy your curiosity, we'll get to a village that has many small shops that make coconut candy and handcrafted items from coconut trees of Mekong Delta. Morning: Visit Cu Chi Tunnels _ Start 8:00 AM Cu Chi Tunnels is a legendary underground system of over 220 km of tunnels, a must-see for both Vietnamese and foreign travelers who are interested in the history of the Vietnam War. The tunnels are now a historical structure of Vietnam and considered a heroic district for the role they played in the resistance to US forces during the Vietnam War. The tunnels are located approximately 60km from Ho Chi Minh city. The tour departs at 8:00 am from office or from your hotel in district 1. Enjoy the scenery along the way, as we pass the lush, endless rice fields and the ducks are water buffaloes swimming in the rivers. You might find it hard to imagine that once the area was almost completely destroyed by bombs and mines from the war, when Cu Chi was a “free target zone “. Once we arrive, you will get a chance to walk through some of the tunnels, discover the hidden corners and imagine what life was like here for the resistance soldiers. If you like, try to cook with the smokeless stoves used by Vietnamese soldiers to cook during the war. You can even try foods which the soldiers lived on. If you’re feeling brave, or curious, you can even try your hand at shooting at AK-47, one of the guns used during the war. 11:30 AM Lunch at Ben Nay Restaurant After noon: Visit Ho Chi Minh City _ Start 2:30 PM 1:00 PM Come back to Ho Chi Minh City. 2:30 PM Arrive Ho Chi Minh and Start the trip visiting Reunification palace which was the residence of the President of South Vietnam until end of the war in April 1975. Continue seeing some impressive French colonial structures including the Old Central Post Office. After visiting the City Hall, take a break-time at Ben Thanh market where anything and everything is for sale. 5:30 PM Drop off your hotel, tour The end.
